It has been recently found that JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong received belated treatment for a bacterial infection.
In June, Kim Jaejoong participated in the ‘Asian Dream Cup’, a charity soccer match held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and had his right arm bitten by a harmful insect. Not thinking much about it, Kim Jaejoong didn’t receive treatment for it and ended up letting the infection grow.
A representative of its agency stated, “He was bitten while waiting for his Vietnam performance. He was sweating a lot at the time, so he kept scratching the bite, which had gotten very itchy, causing the wound to deepen.”
Kim Jaejoong made a belated visit to the hospital when he returned to Korea. But the bacterial infection had already gotten so severe that it had spread extensively through his right arm. The representative stated, “When one has an infection, one is supposed to stay away from alcohol, but Kim Jaejoong attended a dinner party after the performance. We believe his condition worsened because he didn’t know the severity of the infection.”javascript:;
Though he has completed his treatment for the infection, he has been left with a scar on his arm. His representative stated, “He has big scars in two different parts of his arm. We believe the infection has not been completely eradicated just yet. He has to receive treatment for it again later.”
Kim Jaejoong is currently filming for SBS’ new Wednesday-Thursday miniseries ‘Protect the Boss’, of which he has been chosen as a main character.

En Junio Kim Jaejung participo en el "Asia Dream Cup" un partido de futbol que tuvo lugar en la ciudad de Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, y tenia su brazo derecho mordido por un insecto dañino. No se hablo mucho sobre esto, Kim Jaejung no recivio tratamiento y termino dejando la infección crecer.
Un representante de su agencia declaro "fue mordido mientras esperaba su actuación en Vietnam. El estaba sudando un poco con el tiempo, asi que siguio rascandose la picadura, que tenia mucha comezón causando la herida mas profunda.
Kim Jaejung hizo una visita tardia al hospital cuando regreso a Corea, pero la infección bacteriana en su brazo ya era severa que se habia extendido a travéz de su brazo derecho. El representante declaro "cuando uno tiene una infecciòn, se supone que debe mantenerse alejado del alcohol pero Kim Jaejung asistió a una cena despúes de la actuación. Creemos que su estado se agravó debido a que no sabía la gravedad de la infección.
A pesar de que ha terminado su tratamiento para la infección, se ha quedado con una cicatriz en su brazo. Su representante dijo "Tiene dos grandes cicatrices en dos paretes de su brazo, creemos que la infección no se ha erradicado por completo. El tiene que recivir tratamiento de nuevo mas tarde.
