120112 Neither Justin Beiber nor Miley Cyrus: A Korean group broke ticket sales record in Peru

JYJ, a popular young K-pop group, sold half of their concert tickets in half an hour. They will sing in Lima on the 11th of March.

When reading title of this article, you are probably unaware of two things: who is JYJ and what is this genre called K-pop they represent. Without being heard on local radios or seen on networks like MTV or have CDs for sale in Peru, Jejung, Yuchun and Junsu, three Koreans with names that is almost unpronounceable have set a record in our country. In just 30 minutes, thousands of their fans purchased half of the tickets for the concert that will be on March 11th, in Explanda del Estadio Monumental.

As informed by Carlos Huamán, a promoter of this event, two seatings zones for the concert were completely sold out today, the first day of sales.
It’s noteworthy that the members of the group will arrive in Lima on March 10th and will leave immediately after their concert.

In 2009, the group that quickly should the tickets for their performance in Lima was the Jonas Brothers. The tickets for their first show sold out in 5 days.
